FUSION WORKS WITH PARENTS

Fusion Western Sydney recognises that raising young people is a challenging and changing time for parents, as well as young people. Fusion works with families of young people providing support, advice and referral, upon request.

Fusion conduct home visits and hold family dinners as part of our outreach program, providing parents with the opportunity to meet fusion staff and hear what opportunities are coming up for young people at Fusion. 

Fusion also provides a family course to families in Western Sydney

Families is a twelve-hour course that focuses on family relationships and gives people strategies in parenting as well as skills to deal with conflict and build honest, supportive relationships with those close to them.

Families is run regularly from our community centres and in response to requests from other centres and institutions.

*Before commencing any Fusion program, young people and their families must complete the information record. This is a one-off form that gives us a bit of information about the young person joining our program. If you have further questions please include a comment in the applicable field above.
